Mike's has been my go-to for tire work and roadside calls for a couple years now. Most recently I had a slow leak that turned into a flat on a trailer tire while I was loaded, and they got someone out within the hour. The tech was straight with me about the tire being shot rather than trying to patch something that wouldn't hold, and he had a comparable replacement on his truck. What I like is that they actually pick up the phone, even at weird hours. I've called other places that send you to a service that sends you to another service and meanwhile you're sitting on the shoulder. Mike answered himself once at like 11pm. Prices are fair, not cheap but not gouging you either. If you run trucks and need someone reliable, give them a shot before you call the bigger outfits.

started off rough, was stranded with a fuel issue and not sure who to call. saw mike's near the top of the list and figured why not. dispatcher took my info, didn't put me on hold forever, had a tech assigned in maybe 10 min. tech called me himself to get a better description and asked if i could check a couple things before he left so he could bring the right parts. that saved a trip. came out, diagnosed a bad lift pump, swapped it, done. easy process

first time using mike's and it went about as smooth as it could. called late afternoon, dispatcher was straight with me, said it'd be roughly 90 min depending on traffic and gave me the tech's number so i could text him directly. that part was actually really useful because i was able to send him a pic of the tire and he confirmed he had the right size loaded before leaving. he rolled up a little ahead of the estimate. quiet guy, got to work, didn't waste time. swapped the tire, checked the others on that axle while he was down there, said one was getting close and i should plan for it but didn't push. paid by card right there, got the invoice texted to me before he pulled away. ill be calling them again next time something goes.

had them come do a full tire service on my semi near Bolingbrook, two drives and one steer tire. all three were getting pretty worn and i didnt want to risk a blowout heading into winter. they mounted everything on site which i didnt think was possible for the steer tire but the tech had the equipment for it. alignment looked good after too based on how the truck tracked on the highway. took about two hours for all three which is pretty reasonable

I had a fuel leak on I-88 right past the naperville exit diesel just pooling under the cab and I'm sitting there with hazards on trying not to panic. Mike's guys found a cracked fuel line fitting and replaced the whole section right there on the shoulder. Took maybe an hour. Could've been a really bad day.
